The Med campaign is often overlooked, specially in the US, but was absolutely vital. It was in the Med that the US learned to fight a modern war, that combined allied air operations were tried and tested, that allied massed amphib and air drop invasions were trialed, including some of the equipment that would be used in Normandy. The Med showed the allies what worked and what did not .

And then in the 21st century, packs of morons try to bring smallpox back...

And the moral is: next time, start by throwing a maiden's belt at the beast.

The part on "presidential elections? Where you stated "state electors..."? I case you don't realise it, this only happens in the US, and there are a lot of non US viewers in youtube .Not everyone is american here. It might be worth remembering, next time you write something.

"kinda not a-live..." Zombie much?...

What I find it amazing, as an european, is that anyone in the US would be surprised by this. The US was built by imigrants from day one (ie, when Colombus got there), so it should be obvious that pretty much everyone (except the small number of native americans) would be an imigrant or a son/grandson of one...

"Viena relieved"... :D

Get's drunk, starts singing. Looks very human!

The french advance was little more than a bluff. The simple fact is that they had neither the logistics nor the air support that would sustain any serious advance. France only started to mobilize a few days before the war started, and much of their tactics and planning were based in WWI assumptions. And both France and the UK were almost blind, regarding german troop and aircraft dispositions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saar_Offensive

"Taxes or else" :D

I kid you not, the 1st thing I saw when I clicked was an add on NFTs...

All of this makes perfect sense. As much as any other religion. :)

I'm a simple guy. I see "Arthur C. Clarke" I hit "like"...

You know... this makes it look like the airlift was just an US operation. Pity you didn't mention the RAF and civilian flights, the Sunderland flying boats landing on the lake. http://www.nationalcoldwarexhibition.org/schools-colleges/national-curriculum/berlin-airlift/facts-figures.aspx

An error in your video: it's not the andean's lungs that adapted to the altitude, it's the blood , by having more haemoglobin than normal. You mistook them for tibetans :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-altitude_adaptation_in_humans#Andeans

And the english wonder why the irish still feel bad about them...

Dr Yueh's conditioning is a massive security flaw, that could have been exploited in many ways. People assuming such a thing is certain is a recipe for disaster...

For more on this, watch "Seven samurai". Or prety much any Kurosawa movie.

CONAN! WHAT IS BEST IN LIFE!? TO STEAL SCIENCE FICTION! TO LOOT FANTASY!

A 10-year siege is impossible, the logistics on both sides, specially for the defenders, are simply untenable. And 1000 ships? Sounds like a nice round and impressive number to put on a saga. I'm willing to acept a 10 year war that drained both sides.
1
A river in the ocean? Wth?...
1
Very much doubt their ships could have made it (and back) from South America, but a current is a good bet.
