  2. I think a lot of people whine and scream about the movie because they don't like Tom Cruise; it's kind of fashionable these days. Me, I think he's a good actor and that's it. As for the movie, it's actually one of the most faithfull adaptations of an original story to come out of Holywood in years.

  3. Force3vo gotta use some "suspesion of belief" :) Besides, remember that, in Wells' time, microbes and their dangers (and power) were just becoming known. I guess he felt they were just what was needed to give mere humans a lesson in humility...
