  1. Retiring but not retiring,....hes taking another police job in austin. Why cant we keep a chief? Maybe we neee to hire david brown again

  2. Seems that the chiefs that hired externally do not stay. They are probably looking for top dollar, more perks, better digs, maybe better retirement packages and a less crime ridden city. Dallas should probably promote from within. The senior level management has been here and has roots no where else, they are more likely to stay where they have invested and grown so many years.

  3. Lupe Valdez is the last person u want, first of all she's 75-80 and was never a police chief. She was a sheriff with no experience, she was a fruit loop. I worked for her and she was not up on anything.....very bad management
