  1. Inmates have Tb and they don't even separate them, or tells the workers. Workers have close contact and don't find out until its too late. But thats the way dallas sheriff dept operates. They don't listen to employees and they think they know everything....the sheriff doesn't listen, the chiefs don't listen. Bet they hear us now. Sad that we can't solve problems internally and have to go to the media. This isn't about rank and do as I say. This is about PUBLIC HEALTH/PUBLIC SAFETY. DART officers get screened EVERYDAY. Why should the sheriff dept be any different. Jailers come into contact with upwards of 280 inmates per day and potentially 100 officers. Imagine how quick this could spread if ONE person has it. We also must do mamdatory overtime where we are then exposed to another 280 inmates and another shift of officers. Dallas county is scared to order the inmates to lock down for 23 hours for fear of "behavioral problems". NEWSFLASH: they already have behavioral problems. They are more concerned with the inmates being manageable that public health. Trash all the way around, but what else is new

  2. Sheriff lying. She has no plan and doesn't know what she's doing. There is no equipment!!!! There are ZERO GLOVES!!!!! Workers have to buy their own gloves.
