  1. She didn't have to throw her insulin out....they say refrigerate insulin which is fine but insulin is still good at room temp. Also if her blood sugar drops during excessive heat she wouldn't need to take insulin she would need to eat something..... also if u want to keep ur insulin cold u could simply buy a bag of ice and cool it that way. I get her frustration but she had options....the world isn't going to end because ur fridge was iut for a few hours. Ppl really are so dramatic. I'm diabetic myself. We all know how 8nsulin works...go to a Starbucks or a library and use their free ac until yours comes back on. 🤔
