I'm not gonna lie, I'm was hoping the defense would present something to help their client, bc I think he could have had a defense against the charges, but I don't think was executed properly....perhaps he should have remained silent. I'm black myself and he lost me with the george Floyd/ahmaud arbery references and defense. I think that was a bad move. It wasn't relevant in my mind and u also have to keep in mind the jury makeup and what has been happening around Wisconsin and Minnesota. If the jury is majority white, which I'm sure they are, I'm sure they are sick of hearing the words george Floyd and racism and protest. That was a dicey move. Also if the jury is white, they may not like the assumption that just bc someone I'd white, that u should be afraid of them and think you are gonna be the next george Floyd, it's a little insulting, even if it's true. The strategy is terrible.
