  2. The conservatives love to talk about our values as if everyone shares them. They love to go on and on about “Western principles,” but what are they? Who do they matter to? Concepts like the Golden Rule matter to us, and are foundational to the way WE live and treat each other. Groups of people are not interchangeable and our value systems are not universal.
