  3. No kidding. If we want to treat Dave and those kids with love, we must tell him the truth. Kids deserve a mother and father and anything else is a farce and will end up traumatizing those kids. Pray for them. I have no judgement against him, but we have to call it what it is

  5.  @richfoster4369  they did a surrogate thing, so this child was brought into the world on purpose. If they adopted an existing child and gave him a home, it would still be wrong but much different. Just so you know, I think it’s wrong for a single parent to do the same thing.

  6.  @atomnous  you’re probably right about some of that, but what he is doing is disturbing God’s spiritual order (or the natural order if you’re not religious). I have no judgment against Dave, but this is certainly not right. Those children deserve a mother and father

  7.  @elemkay5104  of course. I think we all end up traumatized by our parents in some way, but when you add in this dynamic it disturbs the natural order in an unnecessary way. We all mess up, but this is just so obviously wrong. Like I said, no judgement, but truth
