Everything we are seeing happen in our world goes way beyond what our eyes can see and our minds can understand. This is a spiritual battle, good vs evil. We are watching moral order disappear as American men are falling away further from God. But that’s to be expected, given what the Bible tells us. Even if you don’t believe in Jesus, everyone needs to read the Bible. The New Testament at the very least. God bless

I’ve said this before, but there’s nothing wrong with being an “extremist” when we’re up against what we are fighting now. There’s nothing inherently virtuous about compromise, especially when we are expected to compromise with e v i l. In fact, I would argue the opposite. We should all be so great as to be called “extremist.” They use that term derogatorily in order to keep us from being effective. “Extremism” on the side of good is extremely good

@stijn4311 difference is we are right. You don’t get to choose what good is, God wrote that in our hearts and unfortunately the world corrupts our souls. But that’s what made America so spectacular is we built our laws around the Ten Commandments (essentially). And it’s only falling apart now that we are falling away from God

@Miscelanou I’m still reading, but wanted to throw this out there before I continue. Yes, pride in yourself is a sin. The pride you’re called to have is to thank God for the great things he’s done in your life that has allowed you to become someone who does his will. When you’re a great man, you can be proud in a way that gives the glory to God and acknowledges the role Jesus has played in making you who you are

I was the fifth view! You beat me

@Miscelanou I think a lot of the Old Testament especially is written in parables, same reason Jesus spoke in parables. That being said, there are many truths in there that even the most God-hating satanist can’t deny. God wrote the truth of good and evil in our hearts, and it’s the world that corrupts us and leads us away from what we know in our hearts

@Miscelanou as for the rest of what you said, I understand and agree that pride has two sides. The kind of pride that is dangerous is the kind that is connected to ego. I also love having these conversations btw

@Miscelanou yup. It’s the same reason we are called not to judge other people, because we have to recognize that when they do evil they have a spirit that has made a home in them. It’s not them attacking us, which is why Jesus said “forgive them for they know not what they do.” That’s a classic idea from the Bible that gets misinterpreted all the time so you will hear people everywhere who think that means we don’t judge at all. We do, but we judge the action and not the person. Same with people who do good. They have allowed the spirit of good to make a home in them. The reason we have so many people running around hating each other is because we are not taught from the Bible anymore, so people don’t have real love in their hearts

@JJ-qo7th the fact that we are here and battle with good and e v i l within our own hearts proves it, if you haven’t been demoralized and brainwashed into thinking this all means nothing and morality is up to you
1
@stijn4311 but you don’t get to make the judgement for yourself, because many of us are not equipped to judge good and bad. The world is full of evil and evil is very subversive. It can kill your perception of what it means to be “good.” But there is a good and there is an evil
