They were able to do this because “classical liberals” and libertarians are too stubborn to admit that moral standards matter. These are the fruits of our “you do you” approach to society. Hopefully people are starting to see that what people do in their personal lives affects society as a whole, because we are not solitary beings.

In the 1980’s Yuri Bezmenov told us to beware of people who use the term “social justice...” he also warned us what would happen if we allowed c o m m u n i s t propaganda to be excused as “free speech.”

@michael brown that’s not true at all. This started in universities, not social media

@jeffhall768 authoritarianism does not = tyranny. When the children are misbehaving and running wild, they need to be brought back to order. “Freedom” doesn’t exist without moral order.

@fubarexress6359 but you’re living in a fantasy world where the opposition thinks the same way as you. They don’t say “you do you,” they say “do what we say or your life is over.” It would be nice if everyone was just leaving everyone else alone, but that’s not what’s happening

@RockyAndTheHat exactly. “Just follow this abstract rule! What? You’re not gonna follow it? How mean! Well, at least I have my principles...”

@derek8239 this was traditionally a Christian nation. There’s no arguing that (even though libertarians always do because we have been taught revisionist history in our government-run schools). The Ten Commandments, the New Testament, traditional America was an ordered society because God was at the center. I’m ready for your rebuttal because I’ve had this conversation enough times to know that many people consider themselves “conservative” but for some reason draw the line at God/religion.

@peaceribbon8322 well said

Hey are my replies to your comments hidden or can you see them? I have 4 up to this point
5
@michael brown that is true, but it would still affect how people vote, and we would end up voting in the same government overreach we are currently trending towards now
5
@teddyroosevelt512 libertarianism has been a massive PSYOP by c o m m u n i s t s, against conservatives and we need to break the spell. It’s obvious that all this craziness does affect you no matter how far you try to remove yourself from it
5
@derek8239 morality is not subjective
5
@morrigankasa570 morality is not subjective. That’s a leftist talking point
5
@morrigankasa570 like I said though, just because people have their own idea of morality, it doesn’t make them right. A lot of people think it’s okay to have a “relationship” with children. We see that as e v i l, they don’t. One of us is correct, and that’s us
5
@morrigankasa570 doesn’t matter if he THOUGHT he was immoral if he actually was
4
@independentaquaman7424 who cares whether it’s funded by tax dollars or corporate money or even private citizens? It’s destroying a once-great society and will absolutely lead to tyranny and ruin
1
@fubarexress6359 there’s a big difference between people being expected to follow laws and stay within a framework that keeps society moral and moving forward, and totalitarian rule that imprisons dissidents... that’s where we are headed if the globalists succeed
1
@paulw5039 I didn’t see that one but it’s a good lesson
1
@morrigankasa570 what about s o c i a l i s m? Is it moral to take from hard workers and distribute the earnings to entitled lazy leeches?
1
@morrigankasa570 yea, but exceptions to the rule based on honest reasoning are not an argument against the morality of taking from the hard-working and giving to the lazy
1
@morrigankasa570 I disagree. We live in a society... the left understands that, which is why they force their morality on us. We need to do the same or we will absolutely lose. Difference between us and them is we are correct. The reason we’ve lost up to this point is because the left understands the concept of power in a way that the right doesn’t.

@derek8239 just because people are using the name of God, doesn’t mean they are good. People can be easily corrupted. That being said, we are taught a LOT of revisionist history by our government-run schools (about the crusades for example). A lot regarding Christianity is told in falsehoods by our regime. A lot of people sneer at Christianity as a whole just because there has been corruption in some churches, but the truth is that any institution can be corrupted (and likely will given a certain amount of power), but that doesn’t negate the idea behind it. Like schools for example... just because the schools are corrupted (beyond repair at this point), it doesn’t mean we give up on teaching kids altogether. That would be silly
