Yes there are easy examples like ballet, classical music, our holidays and traditions, dressing up for formal occasions etc. but what about cars? Flying on airplanes? Space and sea exploration? The scientific method? Our nuclear family, expectation of privacy, freedom of thought/speech. Everything down to the way we smile and nod when walking by and hold the door open for people we’ve never met and probably will never see again. It goes on and on. Im just listing things at this point with no structure. The everyday interactions between folks in the West are taken for granted. Our value systems are not universal. Everything we know and love about how the West operates IS Whte culture
