As we should all know by this point, it’s not about guns. It’s about our right to protect ourselves and our families. When we talk about 2A it’s important that we make self defense the focus rather than guns. Guns are just the best means. They want us to be helpless.

@starfighter1043 which argument is easier to defeat? 1. “ The constitution says I get to have guns!” 2: “ I need to be able to defend myself and my family, and since criminals have guns, I need one too. Do you want me to be helpless?”

@starfighter1043 they don’t care about our rights at all, but the audience listening will hear them admit they want you to be helpless, rather than just hearing them argue against gun ownership

@starfighter1043 what you’re missing is that we are fighting against a moral imperative, not rational people. To say they are against guns makes them the “moral actor” in their story (which most people live in), to say they are against self defense makes them the immoral actor in pretty much everyone’s story
