We are seeing the fruits of our “you do you” approach to society. They’ve been able to get this far because “classical liberals” and libertarians are too stubborn to admit that moral standards matter. Hopefully people are starting to see that what people do in their personal lives affects society as a whole, because we are not solitary beings.

@marcmeadows5973 I hear you, but God calls us to judge actions, not people. It would be silly to think we can’t share our ideas just because we aren’t living perfect lives in other areas. Otherwise no one would be able to talk about Christianity at all

@bumstudios8817 I wouldn’t suggest tyranny, but definitely some form of authoritarianism. We have become a nation of overgrown children. And when the children are misbehaving, you gotta lay down the lawhammer a little bit and get everyone in line. People need structure or we are just running wild, and we don’t do well on our own. Children don’t deserve *all-out freedom because they can’t handle it, they will destroy themselves (which is why consent laws are a thing) and that is what’s happening here. Freedom must be preceded by moral order. So the way I see it, authoritarianism is coming and we want to be the ones in the drivers seat.
