  48.  @jasontater  when people have investment in society, they put their time and effort into working hard and making it beautiful. Investment in society is family and legacy. That’s what enforced monogamy is, is it gives every man and woman a shot at having their own little corner of the world they can love and care for. Things work better when more people have a stake in the future. If only 10-20% of men are getting all of the women, that means 80-90% of men have no reason to really work toward a better future, they have no legacy to worry about
