  1. I’ve been telling conservatives forever that we need to learn how to use emotional arguments. Data/numbers and spreadsheets/appeals to common sense don’t work when people have been d e m o r a l ized. It’s unfortunate, but people are driven by emotion in times like these, and we need to learn how to take advantage of that.

  2. That’s such a huge issue with the secular arguments for conservatism. One day the libertarians and atheists will wake up and realize (probably when it’s too late) that they were rejecting the one aspect of conservatism that kept us free
