The only way to truly be happy in a marriage is to stop trying to please your wife. Realize that she doesn’t have love to give, and that women are built to receive love. “Love your wives as Christ loves the church.” Meaning you are the head of not only your household, but your wife too. Did Christ take orders from the church? Or did Christ lead the church and pull them out of the hell they were living in? You two are equally important and deserve equal dignity as human beings, but there can only be one president and it has to be the man, or your home (and ultimately society at large) goes to hell in a hand basket. If she doesn’t love her role as Vice President, then she will not make a good wife and mother

@MC-ze8wj I don’t know much about orthodox Christianity either. I think that’s what my little bro is into though. They do the Father thing there too? That’s one of the reasons I couldn’t get into Catholicism... We have an earthly father but there is only one Father and that is our Father in heaven!

We are in a predicament, because marriage is necessary pillar of Western civilization. But you’re right that it’s too much risk for most men the way that most women live and think these days. That’s why control has been given to women by the people in “power,” they know that it can never work if the man isn’t the head of his wife

@wanderingcalamity360 it does have to be the man though because women do not respect a man they can order around, and men don’t love women who order them around. Stop trying to deny the natural order
