  1. 12:53 This is the reason why I would encourage people to learn a trade. There is a stunning lack of people out there with trade skills and many of those jobs pay really well. It is, to me, counterproductive to pursue a college degree only to rack up a shit-ton of debt in the process.

  2. One of the main reasons why the cost of living in Canada has become astronomical is because of the "free" healthcare (which really isn't free). You are paying higher and higher taxes on everything in order to sustain (not) "free" healthcare. So whether you realise it or not, you ARE paying for it, just not in the form of health insurance, which is ridiculously expensive here in the States, even for the most basic coverage! And health insurance is MANDATORY here, NOT optional (NO thanks :face-orange-frowning:to former Pres. Obama). Those of us without insurance have to pay a PENALTY for NOT having it.:face-pink-tears:
