  1. It wasn't covered much in American media. But at the same time, Iraq was vigorously prosecuting cases against women who came to the caliphate and participated in crimes. I don't recall if Begum was in danger. I do know I was banned from pre-Musk twitter for suggesting that the women should face justice where they committed the crime.
