  1. I notice that many are suspicious that wealthy people intend to use the tragedy to turn the whole place into a rich mans private preserve. I doubt there are any real conspiracies, but it is certain that some creepy crooks will insert themselves into the rebuild effort. But, people own their property, and should not be prevented from using their own property for their own benefit particularly when the disaster was aggravated by an ineffective relief effort. A novel idea in Progressive Hawaii.
