  2. Handling Hydrogen without dangerous leaks is extremely challanging from an engineering standpoint. The molecule is much, much smaller than the space between any gaskets used to keep the H2 where it belongs. Keeping valves and seals from leaking and pooling the gas in dangerous places is virtually impossible. Doing so in a vehicle that has repeated stress from flight operations, and doing so in a way that permits routine operations seems unlikely to me.
