I'm 72 years old and lived under 13 Presidency. Trump's election feels like waking up from a sad and depressing dream, and realizing you were sleeping on the beach on a tropical island.

The Uniparty wants to spend Russia into submission. This could take years.
26
Why should I care how long these criminals languish. Most should never be released at all in any country.
14
Having watched European politicians, professors, media types and celebrities and listening to them speak, i have to doubt they'll ever wake up.
9
I'm looking forward to '28.
7
I heard a politician who insists on allowing unvetted criminals into their society, talking about how evil it is to protest policies that wreck the country. At the end he announces more laws that promote this brain-dead policy. Americans should watch as closely as we watch Canada.
6
Climate catastrophe proponents. Chicken Little.
6
Hey! Why does Florida get to keep him? Did you call dibs? No fair! I'm tellin' Mom.
5
This is what Eisenhower warned us about. The military contractors depending on the good will of Congress. Congress keeps the wars going, and industry thrives. There must be a link there somewhere. 'Who benefits' is always a good question.
5
They aren't invested in Tesla or Musk would be getting lots of love. No, they could not care less about electric vehicles unless Congress can spend tax dollars supporting them. Sending our money to their friends and family is what Congress does.
4
Warren apparently agrees with the "one drop" rule.
4
The House and Senate set their own rules. The only rules for the court are the constitution, and the power of the purse. Its laughable for Members of Congress to offer ethical advise.
3
@OptimusPrinceps_Augustus This is a stalemate. Russia went over to the defensive more than 18 months ago.
3
Just vote them out. Its the only way to win this fight.
3
@armedfarm3429 If an EV gave you acceptable performance, range, refueling cost and time, etc. you might think differently. I neither have nor want an EV. I just don't want taxpayer dollars to pay for anyone else's. One person mention Ford and GM , and I said Tesla does it without costing tax dollars.

Trump hit that mark 2 days in. And no screeching harpies, (where did Jill find them?) clearing the room when they wanted Joe to shut up.
3
If the State Department wants to give money to a foriegn organization, it should be voted on by Congress. That way, the grant would express the will of the people, rather than the will of a party.
3
That is staggeringly incompetent staff work. 1) Her staff released a report in the bosses name ahead of schedule and caught her by surprise. 2) The statement had two opposite intentions: to fool some people into thinking they're going to do something about shortages and prices, while assuring the base they have no such intention. 3) The secretary was utterly unable to explain it. You would think a Cabinet Secretary would be a bit more skilled at speaking off the cuff. She can read a position paper and deflect a tough question but thats the limit of her skill. They blame Trump. They know Trump recognized the unpopularity of off shore drilling. In 2018 oil futures were approaching zero. We were producing so much oil there was no good reason to have a fight over off shore leases. The Biden admin. is too incompetent to notice these facts, and too ideologically committed to carry out a useful plan, and too stupid to carry out their plan without stepping on their own genitals.
2
@ Well nice to hear from you! My world is getting better by the minute! But thanks for the good wishes!
2
@ Read your answer and had an amusing thought. In 1991 Democrats made a big deal about Bush apparently backing off from "Read my lips! No new taxes!"
2
President Trump is highlighting what is really good in the US. Super Bowl, Daytona, I suspect he might be there for the Master's at Augusta.
2
We can't wait 'til you get here!
2
The whole freakin government and lots of individual bureaucrats have daily access to your Ss #, bank records, tax filings, employment records and all your HIPPA "guaranteed" privacy. And you're worried about Musk? Please, would you at least try once in a while to be serious?
2
@Larrythecableguy749 Im not saying this is a good thing, or a smart way to think. Im just saying too many Senators and too many Representatives are getting too rich to stop the war.
2
An 18 yr old marine is allowed to fight and die for our rights, but he has no 2A right himself? A republican should offer an amendment to this bill prohibiting anyone under 18 from joining the military.
2
No matter how bad things get, we must vote for incumbents. The devil we know. Still a devil though.
2
Somehow I think the Justice Department will find a way to stay focused on letting the Biden's get away with it.
2
@nicthemickatx Its worth it to wait and see a few more months. You know the Declaration of Independence had some wise words for why people put up with government shit for so long. They were wise, and worth considering.
2
@alhorn2664 Term limits were in the '92 Republican platform. Since it requires passage by the people it limits, it never had a chance. Now it will take a convention of the states.
2
It just hit me. "Contract with America" was 30 years ago. Term limits were promised by conservative Republicans. I didn't believe in term limits then because I think people should be allowed to vote for whomever they want. Today, I'm not so certain. When half the people are dependant on politicians for their livelihood not sure ...
2
@Barbutt The left is right when they say the constitution can change with the time. They are wrong when they say they can find new meaning in the old words. The constitution has about 1 amendment per 10 years of history. It can change with the time. But it requires a process whereby the large majority wants a change. It cant be changed by Congress and should not be changed by a judge, or any number of judges. Leftists know they are in the minority, and so they demand judges and Congress substitute themselves for the people.
2
@navie78 I hear you. Hunker down and hold on.
2
The Harvard rep thinks we believe her. And she's supposed to be smart? The UPenn lady apologized for her testimony and resigned. Academia has a lot to answer for, and a lot of house cleaning left undone.
2
All the cities politicians want us to see them. They have no useful information, offer no solutions, explain no motive. But they do need more 'tools' to solve the problem. These people are the problem.
2
And liars and thieves too.
2
@jamesbarry6979 MIGA
2
@JamesStripling Well, thats one opinion. Id rather see the aid tied to an expectation of negotiations. This is now more than 10 years of open warfare. Its a stalemate. Its time to talk.
2
Discriminate against people with "behavioral health" issues? Give me a break. He has just identified criminals (people with behavioral health issues) as a class who have the right to be protected FROM police practices. Is your city a dystopia yet? If not, be sure to keep electing people who agree with Garland. 11:56
2
Lets ask Wesley Snipes about filing taxes and getting probation.
2
Zelinsky doesn't want peace, he wants to win and punish Putin. Trump offered security assurances in return for a cease fire, Zelinsky wanted breathing room to keep up the fight.
2
Wyden, in a hearing on abuse of FISA warrants, asked James Clapper if the feds were collecting and saving data on American citizens. Clapper perjured himself in that hearing, and Wyden said not one word, even though he knew as a a member of Senate intelligence community, knew Clapper was lying. Because Wyden and Clapper are DEMOCRATS.
2
Much as I admire the Senator and his very cogent questions, I can't help remembering that Congress had the power to decide these issues until they ceded their authority to the Executive Branch. And they have the power to take that authority back any time they choose. Since Congress has failed to act under either party's majority. All House incumbents, and a third of the Senate incumbents are up for election in November. I suggest we vote for as many new people as possible. This November, I'll vote based on what they did in office, not what they say they'll do. Until a majority of us do that we'll get the same as we've always gotten. Venal, corrupt, mendicants enriching themselves while the people suffer.
2
Lets say Columbia hired a professor who said to his class the following: "You know, all that civil rights propaganda was way overblown! There weren't nearly as many lynchings as they say, and some of those were justified." How long does that professor have a job anywhere?
2
These FISA warrants will be used by both parties against citizens. They will do so to improve their electoral chances especially when they can claim the citizen did something "evil". They will gladly use every power that is given to hold power and benefit Congress-persons.
2
Their base was terrified that Trump would succeed in making America the world's dominant energy exporter.
2
Moral clarity is an advantage not granted to the world's combination bank and police force. Putin can be both evil and amenable to a solution.
1
When we list who benefits from USAID grants, lets not forget the American Senate. We have long observed middle class people becoming obscenely wealthy, shortly after entering the Senate. How many poor senators do you know? Where do you think the money came from?
1
To celebrate this guy's elevation to PM we should announce a closed border and 200% tariffs. There's nothing there we can't produce ourselves. Ontario can freeze in the dark for all I care.
1
If Congress passed an appropriation and gave an Executive branch agency power to spend it as they wish, then Congress has abandoned it responsibility. It should not be possible to spend $2 billion and there be Senators who didn't know about it.

@renaerosecrans3062 Or Desantis-Gabbard, or maybe Gabbard-Desantis?
