  1. I take issue with Hollywood's "job" of only providing entertainment (as said at 2:58). When it's about Oscars, it's not just entertainment, but the films that crossed the threshold into the "art" section. Art which is so hard to find nowadays when we ARE flooded by very cheap creative-and-cultural-wise entertainment. Back to the point, Oscar awards should be about art, not entertainment. Hollywood can do whatever they like (that includes NOT doing just entertainment), of course, with the risk of people not giving an ounce of F about it. And, yes, giving (or not giving) an award based mostly (if not fully) on the narrative is ruining the idea of the award. Oh well, they did it to themselves.
