  2.  @justin_time  Yeah, that cascade of issues is why governments are usually afraid of slowing the economy. And, yeah, I heard that the energy prices are a huge problem now in DE, and were for a few years, and that the industry was hit hard. But I also heard they have a lot of solar that's waiting for permits and in general to be connected to the grid. I really hope DE gets to sort the energy problem, without massive imports of fossil fuels.

  4. April 2050: JerryRigEverything sues the solar panels manufacturer because the last month the solar panels only produced 79% of the initial rated capacity. The manufacturer retaliates saying that hand (digit?) writing on the dirty solar panels voids their warranty and permanently damages the panel. The rest of the world is befuzzled of why do they care so much ? They're all happy with their 20 KW array of 40 500W 1sqm panels that all costed a total of $2000 and have 75 years of warranty. Elon Musk makes the massive announcement that for the first time, SpaceX will send a rocket to Mars in the next 4 years.
