  1. Well, then the whole 5th-9th gen would actually be ... 4th ??? gen ? But. yeah. recently the differences are smaller and smaller. Though I have to admit, I was very surprized with the power efficiency for 9900K. Not sure it's enough to call that a new gen though...

  2. Theoretically it will performe worse, since it won't be a mature process, but if that beefy cache size increase is true, that alone might make it better than all 14nm processors.

  3. Well, not 10000x faster. It was 10000x faster than a previously-built graphene chip. But it will be significantly better. And it seems it's not just bluff: https://www.extremetech.com/extreme/164301-graphene-transistors-based-on-negative-resistance-could-spell-the-end-of-silicon-and-semiconductors 400 GHz, that does sound nice. It can still get to 8K 244Hz even though it will be just 100 times faster :)
