I thought about it for a good time ago. But you have to realize that having a different OS will increase the testing time for GN by A LOT. I guess literally double the time for some scenarios. It's not just the testing alone, but the installation and maintaining the OS. And drivers on Linux can be quite a PITA. And I doubt they have the time. So, as nice as it would be, since Linux can perform SO WELL (especially when dealing with loading a lot of files and God-knows how many other scenarios), the reality is that it too expensive, effort-wise, to have them. Also, sadly, it's still not so broadly used, though I guess it's also because things like benchmarks aren't that easy to find.

@GamersNexus Maybe you can do a one-time benchmark session to show the difference between Windows and a Linux distro on a single CPU+GPU (preferably AMD one, as I've heard that the drivers there are the very good) when you have some news-free time ?
