  4.  @davidwuhrer6704  "Actually, avoiding Poettering's cruft is super easy, barely an inconvenience" if you work as a sysadmin or devops and the servers you work are RHEL 7 or newer .... can you avoid it then ? I think you can't, but I'm not 100% sure. What I wanted to point out is that for your computer you can absolutely not use it. But you might still be forced to work with it if it's used at work.
