@sdrc92126 Up to a point. There's plenty of cases where the space is limited, so the efficiency matters. Yeah, of course, if it costs double to get 10% more energy nobody will buy that. But if it costs 20% more for 10% more energy some people will get that. While it's more cost per watt, it's still less power from the grid which costs even more per watt, so overall net positive.

@swanvictor887 What a load of bullshit. The "legacy" car brands will survive on the simple fact that Tesla cannot make enough cars to meet the global car demand (not specific EV demand, but anytype-of-car). Then you add that there's a lot of brands that have decent EVs already, and only getting better too, and then you add that Tesla's also have their own problems that some people will not get over with and... ta-daa, the majority of the "legacy" brands will make the switch without disappearing.

"of a startup that is less than 1/10th the age of Mercedes" - uhm, Mercedes was founded 97 years ago, while Tesla was founded 20 years ago. "flies off"

Because those solar panels would be wasted. Instead of being inefficient because not always in good/perfect orientation with no shade, it will also increase weight and complexity. Those solar panels would massively be more efficient just staying in a parking lot, always in sun's view.

@jeffreysims1249 "small 2 seat model" Are you blind ? How is this small ? It's as big as 4 seat cars.

In the Jan-Nov 2021 increase list, you skipped the real #14: Kia Niro EV.

I was asking myself the same thing! Whas was proven ? No detail at all in the video. And I'm surprised I had to scroll sooo much to find this content. Everybody else talks about something else. Not to mention a lot of "smart" people commenting that laws of physics cannot be broken.... aargh

I would have said "thanks captain Obvious", but after seeing a lot of comments, there are actually many people who didn't got the memo.... sigh.
