  3. IIRC GIMP 3 has a lot of color space improvements if not an overhaul. And it's one of the main blockers for Adobe people in using it, from what I've heard.

  4. Eventually certainly. But this year I think you'll see it only on Arch and Gentoo. I guess NixOS too

  5. Out of curiosity, if you have the time, what are those features ? I remember that color space is one of them, which I think is improved/addressed with GIMP 3
