  2. You say that the place you're at pays you ok ? And also allow overtime ? That seems that maybe they actually do care about the service they provide or whatever your part of the job is. Maybe start talking with them of ways to improve the job ? Procedures, helpers, technology, automations, something ? So one way or another it gets better ? Maybe you can't make the work faster, but maybe you can make it more tolerable so more people join or slack less.
