  1. Actually I bought my laptop, a beefy 17.3 inch Asus laptop in 2016, and even though it was quite expensive (1500-1600$) it didn't had an SSD, but a 1TB 7200 RPM HDD. I was ok with that, because it has 2xM.2 ports where I can put whatever I want (and I wanted a really good SSD so not having to replace a mediocre SSD was a plus). Of course, Apple has no excuse
