  1. Hmmm, 64 threads vs 4 threads, that's 16 times more. And those results... most of them are around 14 times faster. Which means that the average per core is slower than Phenom's II, lol. If I had to guess, I think it's because of the frequency.

  2. He's testing the CPUs in their out-of-the-box configuration. Nothing wrong here, really. It's a bit silly that it's a desktop CPU versus a laptop CPU, but given the time difference between the two, it's expected that the newer CPU to be visibly faster, even when having less power. What is missing, is testing for out-of-order processing, using RAM too. Because there has been (I think) significant improvements in this regard. And these tests completely bypass that.
