  1. I haven't seen any mention on this, so I have to ask... isn't the cost also a plus for copper ? When I was younger and learned about fiber optics (for networking), there were two main disadvantages: you must be really careful about bending the fiber cable, as it can't tolerate much. And it was MUCH more expensive. (or so they said) So... is fiber optics more expensive than copper for a cable ?
