What is a CDL? I'm a Californian and I've heard of that acronym referencing California Driver License.

Some people gotta pretend to be big and bad, thinking people will believe the act.

That and "film this!" to unrelated parties. The one that's starting to irritate me the most is "Call your supervisor!" Like that's gonna do anything except waste time. Unless force has been used, cops should stop allowing suspects to stall and not comply until a supervisor shows up. It's getting ridiculous.

@davidOConnor-z3l I might have to disagree with you on that one. A teacher's job is to educate students about a specific subject. It's a parent's job to teach them morals, respect, communication techniques, etc. Etiquette, manners, ethics, interactions with adults, and interactions with police are a parent's responsibility.

The wind might have been blowing in a direction she did not approve of. Some people just wake up angry and want to take it out on the world. Life could be so much easier if people stopped being defensive over the smallest things. The ego has got to go too. That'll get someone in trouble real quick.

She didn't think it through. I haven't been on unemployment in decades, but last I heard, you're not eligible if you're fired. I saw a video last week featuring a woman who was on day 3 or 4 of her job at an airport and did everything possible to make sure she lost her job. And she got to go to jail too. Probably the most productive day she'd had in a while.

@shaun2318 well I know NOW what it is because some people were nice and took the time to let me know. And I guess, my answer to that is I don't drive a commercial vehicle where I would need to obtain a CDL.

I guess we missed the part where she blocked the gas pumps, was told to leave the property, and then trespassed. We got to see her told she was trespassed, and we saw the repercussions of her staying put, hence arrest for criminal trespassing.

@emilym3139 I'd rather call a perfect stranger in lieu of calling my parents. If I was younger, pulled this stunt, then called my parents, I'd be calling 911 after getting home because I got my ass beat.

@peter5336 she was trespassed, then proceeded to sit there, and order her coworker to hurry up, which resulted in a trespassing charge.

Based on title, I thought this was Day 1 of this gig. But apparently that isn't the case.

@tragicsham understood, but this isn't retail where the customer is always right. And generally speaking, retail doesn't include the possibility of somebody going to jail once the transaction is complete.
