He brings in racism which has nothing to do with this case. Most damaging is: how did his girlfriend get all these injuries?   9. As a lifelong New Yorker, Eric Adams is the worst mayor we've had, imo. He's an absentee mayor who enjoys cocktail parties and the high life. He rarely gives press conferences and has NOT dealt with the uptick in violent crime, homelessness, and illegal immigrants. The quality of life is at its lowest here.

If you've allowed certain insults or bad behavior to start and continue, it's very difficult to backtrack and start fresh. That said, if the insults are ongoing, I would walk away and move on.
