@minestar2247 so they got Finland as new Nato ally after attacking Ukraine 😂
61
This is actually such great and accessible video for everyone about history of Ukraine, and is respectful for Ukrainian historic elements such as Kyivan Rus'/Ruthenia. Although you are wrong about Ukrainian language, it was just previously called Ruthenian language and is predecessor of modern Ukrainian and Belarusian.
32
It's not anti russian, it's pro human. Kyiv is how Ruthenians-Ukrainians called it. Ukraine could have easily changed control for itself, and Ukraine still has all resources to build nukes in case it doesn't join NATO.
18
@Voxelscaper it's not modern it is literally from 9th-13th century 🤦 Russian nukes don't protect them from destruction by Ukrainian nukes. Yes, Ukraine protects itself, what it otherwise does?
14
It's Ukrainian city both ways, bot 😂
13
@Voxelscaper nobody gave Ukraine billions, if they did Ukraine would have already won 😂 Nope, they were calling it "Kiev" because of years of russian occupation and propaganda. In Polish it was called Kiyow, in Swedish Kenugrad, etc.
9
@Voxelscaper I'm talking about the spelling as well 🤦 Russian nukes don't protect it's territory from Ukrainian nukes, simple as that. I doubt you even understand what nuke is. NATO only gave Ukraine some old equipment with multiple limitations, Ukraine does everything on its own, and is too tough for russia.
8
Russian bot Lmao 😂
7
This is when Ukraine started, but not the war.
6
Russia isn't Rus', it is Muscovy. It simply stole the name that was applied for Ukrainians/Ruthenians, similarly it tried to rename Moscow as "Third Rome".
6
there's no such thing as Novgorod Rus' in historiography. Kyivan Rus', first Ukrainian state.
6
Russo bot lol
5
What were you smoking? 😂
5
@hiddentreasure2161 no, you're just lack any knowledge. Kyivan Rus' was a unified state most of the time, Kyiv was collecting tribute from other tribes and sold them as slaves to Byzantine Empire. It was not unified only 100 years.
5
It's not political, it's common sense brother, Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦🔱
5
It's okay, this way Westerners understand that it was Ukraine
4
@somedesertdude1308 russia already lost its future in isolation from the world 😂
4
It's not even Rus', it's Ruthenia, Rus' is just Ukrainian endonym but it doesn't fit in English.
4
@kidgaminggaming5731 by that logic, British and India are one people, they came from one state of British Empire 😂 Belarus didn't steal it, Russians named part of Grand Duchy of Lithuania as Belarus to support its propaganda and that's how it ended up with that name.
3
@kidgaminggaming5731 it was united for most of its existence, do you realize only people who lived in territory of Ukraine were called Rus'? Other principalities payed tribute to Kyiv.
3
@kidgaminggaming5731 and territory of what is now called russia was colonized by Kyivan princes in 10-11th century. Lol.
3
@kidgaminggaming5731 no, Belarus wasn't part of Rus', because Rus' was only the name of territory of Ukraine. Belarus was called Polotsk Kingdom. White Rus' was just some artificial western name for some random regions of Kyivan Rus', but then Muscovy tried to use this western names to build its propaganda. Ukrainians ruled the state, they were called Rus' people, Ruthenians. Kyiv was literally enslaving people in the northern outskirts and selling them to Byzantine Empire, what are you tell me, this people were equal in rights to Ukrainians? 😂
3
why?
3
@hiddentreasure2161 yeah, and Rome was just a random city in Roman Empire right? 🤦😂
3
@hiddentreasure2161 yes, it is quite literally ROMAN Empire. You are really so uneducated to argue even with that. 😂
3
@hiddentreasure2161 comparing Roman Empire and North Korea is wild. It is still quite literally called Korean, is this false? I bet next you will say British Empire is absolutely misunderstood, it didn't controlled anything, it was a bunch of principalities working together, with Britain being a little more powerful province.
3
Cope
3
cry harder
3
Cry
3
@kitchenersown Rus' was translated as Ruthenia in western countries.
3
Because they are filled with Russian propaganda?
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 I guess russia is an edge between Ukraine and Mongolia 😂
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 there's no such source, because Rus' weren't enslaving other "Rus'", they were enslaving conquered tribes.
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruthenia. Yeah, the yellow area in Ukraine is named Rus' land, just confirmed what I said.
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 yeah, I looked at the map of Ruthenia, the yellow area in Ukraine is literally called "Rus' land". Gonna cry?
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 so it started in Ukraine, and then Ukraine just conquered all of the rest. Plain and simple, this all belonged to Ukraine.
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 yeah, Swedes, which were assimilated by Ukrainians and became Ukrainians. Still it is Ukraine.
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 Ukraine enters into written history with the establishment of the medieval state of Kievan Rus'. In Dnieper Ukraine, the tribe of Polans served as the organizers of Kievan Rus' state, beginning to name themself and their land Rus' in 9th century, a word that probably derived from the Varangians, who laid the foundation of the state itself.[4][5][6] This is from history of Ukraine. Sike, Ukrainians organised and ruled Kyivan Rus' 😂
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 The archaeological excavations in the middle to late 20th century found cultural layers dating back to the late 10th century, the time of the Christianization of Rus' and a century after it was allegedly founded.[18] Archeologically, Novgorod only existed in 10th century 😂
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 Muscovy is a true name of "russia", don't distort history for political reasons, Lmao.
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 Kievan Rus' Capital Kiev (882–1240) What you just said doesn't resembles official version 😂
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 so Msocow is historic Ukrainian city or something? It honestly would have been better if you just deleted your comments and stopped embarrassing yourself 😂
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 Oleg the Wise, Varangian prince who became prince of Kiev[a] He didn't really conquered it, he became prince of Ukrainian people. He captured Kyiv by sneakily killing Askold and Dir who ruled Kyiv.
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 good job ignoring Rus' land is Dnieper Ukraine 😂
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 yes yes, rage more, because Rus' land is Dnieper Ukraine 🤣
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 does it mean you are Borderland of Borderland? 😂
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 I can barely understand you buddy. I guess you have already accepted the reality that Rus' land is Dnieper Ukraine 😂
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 yeah, Rus' in Sweden, Rus' in Ukraine. It seems like there was nothing between them, it seems there was BORDERLAND 🤣
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 I provided you with googlable information about Rus' land which is in Dnieper Ukraine 🤣
2
@kidgaminggaming5731 except you just started raging because Rus' land is Dnieper Ukraine 😂
