  6. saw a documentary on US farming recently. the soil is rock hard , farmers are dumping more and more fertilizer (Monsanto) on their land. Land needs to be rejuvenated, nurtured and looked after. not ruined the way most US farmers do, just to turn out excess quantities over decades. One farmer said on TV, the soil is as good as dead.
