  1. An alternate history question for you Drachinifel. Assuming that the Amagi and Akagi (not Atago and Takao) were not damaged in the earthquakes and they had been finished as planned battlecruisers and in their place the Kongo and Hiei had been made into carrier conversions how would both groups of ships have done? Assuming Kongo and Hiei had a similar style conversion as Akagi and the two Amagi's have been modernized to be fast battleships along with the Haruna and Kirishima with the latter two being done as they were historically?
