Some of us in Africa can relate to this story. U know why there are Indians in Southern African countries?
When slavery was abolished, Europeans in British colonies did not want to deal with Africans directly, so they brought lot of people from India(Industan), and those new servants became the middle men / women. Indians became a layer between Europeans and Africans. in another word, Indians were better than Africans.
That is one of the reason, when Uganda got its independence and the British left Uganda, Idi Amin started abusing, mistreating Indians. NOw most Indians from Uganda are in England. They had flee for life, and Britis saved them. It is a mess created by Europeans.
And how British explained that abuse of Idi Amin to the world? " Idi Amin was foolish". but the truth is, when you are treating him than you treat me, you are creating jalousy, and what do you think wil happen if you are not there?
