  1. What about all the lying that is a default activity, due to not knowing how to handle the situation for a preferred outcome? I see this as the core issue for lying, going back to the child lying phase that starts around age 3 or 4. As such, people could bring their pre-existing liar into relationships. As well, HEXACO personality inventory says honesty is a personality trait. The study seems a bit too narrow.
