  1. Without bad history, Africans have no history at all. So they trauma-cling to their ancestral legacy, rather than progressively assimilating into modern cultures.

  2. There was nothing here that had previously been untold. Today's Black identity is still tribal ancestor reverence focused, just like all other tribal peoples. The problem in their case is in the inherent shame of that history being a large part of their current identity.
