  1. Meeting random people isn't anyone's meaningful goal, since it is not a solution to anything. Down deeper we know we don't care about them. So... it is anxiety producing to force oneself to just meet randos. Proof- when walking and meeting someone walking their dog, or pushing a kid in a stroller, we usually prefer to engage with the dog or the baby rather than the person. 🙄🙄
