The EU citizens were going visiting family and friends and got arrested for illegal immigration practically at the border, treated very abusive, not allowed to their own luggage, to their antibiotics and medicine written by their physicians, smartphones confiscated, not allowed to call families and friends, no access to the lawyers or embassy for days and weeks. I remember a Brazilian Italian couple visiting the sister living in Liverpool for 2 years and an Estonian young woman invited by the friends, no migration at all. So if you must go to UK, ask to be waited for at the border and keep in touch.
