  35. The only solution against brainwashing and indoctrination is the learning of the freedom of thinking and critical thinking, which is very difficult. I would recommend the excellent book of Natasha Kampusch, who was never a victim, never thought and acted like a victim, no Stockholm syndrome. She was abducted of the streets, as a very young child and kept prisoner in abominable conditions. She always called her tormentor "the perpetrator". Her book may be important also for the persons living in authoritarian systems. They were in Moldavia and showed that even the poorest people, also orphans, after the Communist regime, are working very hard, building their own homes, keeping their families, no prostitution, no pimps, no social security, aids. Their films were very convincing. May you tell us about what region and places are you talking about? Because it's very contradictory.
