@petervlcko4858 and still the Moldovans are unfortunately presently the most heroical and martyred of the Romanians

@diosrelish6924 The historical province of Moldova and Romania had a number of wars with the expansionist Russian Tsarist Empire, starting approximately 2 centuries ago. They conquered territories and colonized them with their own minorities to reduce the Moldovan Romanian majority. This policy of deporting and replacing with Slavic people has been accelerated by the Soviet Union. The result of this you may clearly see it in Ukraine today. And in the Baltics too. So yes Moldova also has large amounts of Slavic minorities. So yes your wife may well be Slavic. But in fact there is such a mess that only God knows what it is.

@sorinbalanescu6819 yes, that is why I have a growing respect for the Moldovans. Not many others have such a historical performance in fighting with the Russian Tsarist Empire and the Soviets. Strategically they were correct : it is a threat to Europe. But Europe always deserves its fate.

If they were interested they had to join Romania asap

@Thee-_-Outlier I know very well what is this about. But the present is the truth and you must get used to it. Moldova 's Soviet "glorious" well - being was artificial and built to keep it in the Soviet Union. This kind of thing ruined the Soviets. From where did you get that industrial "no work"? The Moldovans I met recently are able to build a house by themselves. And to sell it. I know that it sounds very conservative and I don't like it. Not to mention what happens with the real estate market. What I want to say is that their glory is to be self employed and their own masters. If someone decides to leave the rural way of life (with the respective values) must be very skilled. And they kept being. Today they are owning... houses in Germany. With a reputation of civilized integration. The advantages of a working system.

Let the Left have some fun

Ukraine has a Soviet Union heritage, illegally occupying Romanian /Moldovan territories through Soviet war crimes, never been punished for.

@olezhabka5094 from where did they get it?
2
@friendofvinnie Kingdom of Romania from 1881 under King Carol I of Romania is 100 years for you? And how old is your own country?
2
NATO is only waiting for the Russians to invade their nuclear sites
1
@Qwerty1637i I would see how you would speak your mother 's tongue after being forced to learn at school a completely different language
1
It is like that when you don't learn the true history of your own country at school. How did he come to the idea of becoming a scapegoat in a classic Slavic civil war? He never heard that true patriots lived all their life in exile? They all have territorial disputes inherited from the Soviet Union. But it may become even worse for Europe.

@glenchapman3899 any idea how much it costs this war? The main problem is that the Asian dragons are living for ever... in Heaven.
1
The best thing that could happen to Transnistria in this case is a carpet bombing at least. Just forget it.
1
This is the direct result of the Romanian policy in the last 30 years when they were busy in... Iraq and Afghanistan instead of their own national territory. Now they will have (again) a Russian occupation in their territory instead of an Ukrainian one. The European capabilities
1
@teodora7219 then it will be no problem if they will disappear
1
@skoci5159 what about the historical province of Moldova during the wars between the Russian Tsarist Empire and the Ottoman Empire?
1
@skoci5159 Moldova belongs to the people who are able to keep it you know?

Yeah I still wonder how did Romania join NATO with a seceded more than a half province and territories under illegal occupation? Perhaps the ex-president Bush might explain something.
