You are overlooking Project Artemis in addition to planned unmanned missions - although it can't search for life, Europa Clipper for example will at least answer some very crucial questions about the Jovian moon by the turn of the decade. Then there is also the wealth of research that the agency conducts to consider.

  11.  @tittyrino  NASA said no such thing, With the cancellation of Apollo the capability to go to the moon was lost together with the funding, not the technology. Don Pettit phrased it very badly when he termed it as "destroyed", but he was referring to the loss of a heavy lift rocket, and the closure of the plants, the retirement of the expertise and tooling, the cessation of the production processes all associated with Apollo as the direction switched to the shuttle programme and the construction of the ISS. Building it all back has been a protracted and painful process which has been hampered by piecemeal and drip-fed funding from Congress. Artemis has superseded the old obsolete technology of Apollo but it still physically survives, as do all the schematics, mission data and reports as testament to the Apollo era. "and NASA filtered most of it" You expect a continual broadcast for 25 and a half days? "and we have better pics from the Lunar Orbiter missions from 1966." Have you actually looked at the images returned from Artemis 1?

Artemis 1 was not fulfilling this purpose. Nonetheless, it has returned some spectacular and impressive images. "And NASA keeps telling us, the Artemis 1 mission was a LEARNING experience" Yes. That's what test flights are. "Has Space changed??" No, but the vessel and the technology inside has.
