  4.  @mantas6540  "They deleted lots of images from the moon and what left bad resolution." Absolute nonsense. In fact there is a current exhibition showing some of the best examples currently showing at the Royal Albert Hall in London. "Then they say they destroyed technology and it hard to build it back." Sigh - this again? That was a clumsily worded quote from astronaut Don Pettit, taken out of the intended context and obsessed over since by dumb conspiracy believers. Since the cancellation of Apollo, the emphasis was placed upon low earth orbit (through the development of the space shuttle and the construction of the ISS) and duration of missions. NASA has yielded huge amounts of data from this as the focus turns again to manned deep space exploration. Also, with the ending of Apollo, the technology, tooling, production processes and plants were all closed. Boeing, who manufactured the Saturn SI-C have spent years reconfiguring and upgrading their old facility for the production of the SLS core stage. As the old technology of Apollo is now obsolete it has been superseded by modern composites, materials, manufacturing techniques and systems that all have to be validated. This has taken years and the grants from congress have been drip fed. In other words, 'rebuilding' - which has been a 'painful' and protracted process. Pettit's quote is almost two decades old. "Then moon rocks turn out to be fossilised wood" Wrong again. Why are you able to qualify these deceptive claims for yourself before you parrot them? A supposed rock was given as a private gift to former Dutch prime minister Willem Drees Jr in 1969 by the U.S. ambassador to The Netherlands, J. William Middendorf II, Drees had been out of office for 11 years, but was considered an elder statesman. When Drees died in 1988, the 'rock' was donated to the Rijksmuseum without verification, and having been exhibited for two decades was later discovered to to their great embarrassment to have been petrified wood. It had nothing to with NASA or the Apollo astronauts. The rocks given by NASA are accounted for in other Dutch museums and encased in Lucite as were all moon rocks officially donated around the world as gifts. Not to mention those that were distributed to geologists the world over for independent petrological analysis. "Footprints don't match" They match the overshoes that were worn on the lunar surface perfectly. "Buzz saying that they never been in the moon" Incorrect again. He said we never went back - again quote mining and completely out of context. "it's bullshit. They faked to win space race against soviets but then decided to carry on with the lies because it is profitable." The USSR tracked Apollo to the moon and congratulated them on the landings. Apollo, profitable? 🤣 "you probably live under the rock." Do you have a brain of a "rock"? - or more likely, petrified wood? It's the same thing over and over and over and over again with you people. Endlessly debunked because you lack the capability and critical faculty to check the veracity of these horseshit claims yourself. You'd sooner consume and parrot online conspiracy theory and social media about subjects that you demonstrably have no knowledge of whatsoever in the misguided belief that it makes you sound informed and clever. David Dunning and Justin Kruger, meet 'Mantas'. Mantas? meet Dunning and Kruger. What's that? you already have?

  6.  @jameywc2  "Charged particles are like little cannon balls traveling close to the speed of light." The "charged particles" that you are referring to are ions, or sub atomic - protons and electrons. Do you understand what that means? Depending upon the intensity, you can shield against such radiation with as little as a piece of paper. "Two holes in the belts north and south pole hmmm isn't that where we see those funny lights." The Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis. When the solar wind of electrons reaches the planet, they first encounter Earth’s magnetic field, referred to as the geomagnetic field. This magnetic field will deflect the electrons. With this deflection, the electrons move around the planet and impact the atmosphere near the polar regions where the magnetic field is weakest. "Ever see the interview of alan bean by bart sibrel? Asked if he went through the belts and the "shooting stars" Bart Sibrel? So you defer to a disgraced advertisement maker, former cult member and taxi driver, dishonest conman and opportunistic conspiracy theorist over astrophysics and particle physics? The interview with Alan Bean was dishonestly and deceptively edited. When he spoke of low earth orbit and the Van Allen Belts, he was referring to command of Skylab 3 and it was cynically and dishonestly presented in the film as the Apollo 12 mission. Seriously, how gullible are you? The flashes of light mentioned are explained in my previous post. "I DID see the small bore holes in the helmets! Believe what you want." No, I assure you that you didn't. Sub atomic particles do not make "holes" in space helmets and your personal incredulity, arguments from ignorance and indignant insistence have no bearing whatsoever upon reality. It sounds very much like you are getting confused with the threat posed by micrometeoroid impact - but that in itself can be very serious but an albeit manageable risk. Incidentally, known science is not a question of 'belief' - that would be the junk conspiracy theory that you consume and regurgitate, such as Bart Sibrel. There is however at term in physics called 'electron holes' which refer to electrons in atoms moving out of the valence band and into the conduction band. "It's like a debate with a creationist nothing personal." The unintentional irony at this stage is as amusing as it is staggering. "I was the same at one point." Until you discovered Bart Sibrel and he told you what to think? No, trust me, you really weren't 'the same as me'. You do however come across as a somewhat arrogant and immodest individual that grossly overestimates your own abilities and is afflicted by acute illusory superiority. I am irrelevant to this exchange. My replies to you are all independently verifiable and supported by known physical laws that you evidently have zero knowledge of. Perhaps that's why you think that junk online conspiracy theory can compensate and make you sound clever? Be assured, you are mistaken. Have some humility, watch this video, educate yourself and learn some actual science.

  10.  @M25Republic  "Not a single proof anyone went to the Moon." Entire branches of science, the related fields of propulsion/aerospace engineering, orbital mechanics, petrological analysis, every credible astrophysicist on the planet, the independent nations that tracked Apollo to the moon, over a third of a ton of moon rock , 2,200 lunar samples and the overwhelming consilience of evidence would beg to differ. Which to give credence to I wonder? The latter, or 'Pav' - a random scientifically illiterate gullible conspiracy believer over the comments section of a video entertainment platform? Tough one that. "Artemis program will be a disaster and will be cancelled." Perhaps. And if it isn't?...what then? You'll retreat into default coping mechanism which is denial and post bullshit conspiracy theory about CGI across internet forums and social media? "The first man to land on the Moon will be a Chinese." Firstly, since it would involve a crew of two or more - then it would be in the plural not the singular. One man isn't about to land on the moon on a solo mission. Secondly, it would not be until the 2030s and irrespective of your take on Project Artemis, it pledges a manned landing by 2025. I would be inclined to agree that this is overly optimistic, particularly in terms of the available funding from Congress, but it will be achieved this decade. Incidentally, twelve men have walked on the moon, four of them are still with us - Aldrin, Scott, Duke and Schmitt - Apollo 11, 15, 16 and 17. respectively.

  11. "So... electron microscopes lie? They lie when they show small holes where the charged particles went through the helmets of the space shuttle astronauts that went 400 miles up and said they were showing shooting stars when closing their eyes?" What on earth are you talking about? Alpha and beta particles don't make holes in space helmets. Cosmic ray visual phenomena, or light flashes often referred to as Astronaut's Eye, are spontaneous flashes of light visually perceived by some astronauts amd particularly those outside the magnetosphere of the Earth, such as during the Apollo program. There is speculation that LF may be the result of cosmic rays or actual photons of visible light being sensed by the retina or they may relate to phosphenes, which are sensations of light produced by the activation of neurons along the visual pathway. What's your point? "Funny i cant find a shred if this pbs program anymore." What 'programme'? "I saw it when i still believed we went to the moon." The science of the Apollo programme is not a question of 'belief'. "Northern lights are radiation hitting the atmosphere visual proof of the danger looming" The Northern Lights are the consequence of electrically charged particles from the sun. Most of these particles are deflected away, but some become captured in the Earth’s magnetic field, subsequently accelerating down towards the north and south poles into the atmosphere. This is why aurora activity is concentrated at the magnetic poles. Upon encountering atoms and molecules in the Earth’s atmosphere they essentially heat them up a physical process known as ‘excitation’, analogous to heating a gas and making it glow. These charged particles also become trapped in the Van Allen Belts which consist of alpha and beta radiation in varying concentrations and intensity. Again, what's your point? The real danger stems from CMEs and massive solar particle events which can disrupt the Earth's magnetic field, inflict huge damage to satellites and cause surges in electrical currents which overload power grids causing widespread blackouts. The disruption to the magnetic field can impair radio transmissions and increase radio static in Earth's ionosphere. They also present significant danger to prospective manned missions into deep space. "You say derogatory comments about people like me thanks very little." What?
