I've lived @10 states in ye US other countries I always make sure I know my neighbors. When I was younger people didn't move as much as jobs were more secure. As I got older it was just meeting new people and now ya need to also know for security reasons sadly enough. I'm also a people person. If I don't see someone for awhile I worry about them especially seniors. I'm 65 now but the world has not taken away my joy of meeting someone new. I also smile and say hello to the homeless person on the street. It doesn't cost a dime to acknowledge and possibly make someone's day. They !ay be down on their luck but they are still our fellow citizens.

Think about it. He's used to that weight on his head and all of a sudden it's gone. He must have felt like his head was floating.

It's sad that the world has become so jaded and self serving that this s seen as unusual behavior. At 64 yrs of age this is the type of thing I've done my whole life. Stop looking at your cell phones and look at REAL life happening around you. When you go to bed at night ask yourself what did I do today to make someone else feel better? Even a smile and hello to the homeless person on the street matters. People want to feel "seen" and acknowledged. You never know what that simple act can mean to them.

He should be teaching race relations in America. Her sentence should be something everyone thinks about for a moment. We wondered if people would like us because we're the only black or minority family in the neighborhood. Those are not things white people have to consider. I've traveled and lived in several countries. I'm now a 65 yrs old mixed race woman and only in America have I seen and experienced racism. The micro aggressions in the USA are unbelievable and so accepted. The first things people asked me when I moved to Europe was why was the US so hateful and shooting everyone? I had no answer. May this family be blessed this is a neighborhood to 👏🏼
