  1. It's sad that the world has become so jaded and self serving that this s seen as unusual behavior. At 64 yrs of age this is the type of thing I've done my whole life. Stop looking at your cell phones and look at REAL life happening around you. When you go to bed at night ask yourself what did I do today to make someone else feel better? Even a smile and hello to the homeless person on the street matters. People want to feel "seen" and acknowledged. You never know what that simple act can mean to them.
