@josheastwold5360 what you describe is a segregation om the medical basis and it is induced by the media. Any segregation and discrimination should be discussed and addressed, not reasoned and defended.

Uros Candek I have heard the same from different countries, for example, in Canada Doctors who say differently from officials can lose their jobs. I know the nurses, who were fired because they disagreed on how the situation was managed! It looks like the politicians know better than professionals in the field. The professor did not say anything about testing itself and the change in the reporting to use instead of number of the sick to number of "cases". How scientific is that?

@andrapopa284 the great losses were in the beginning in each country and mostly in nursing homes(what a surprise!). Lockdown is an excessive and useless measure let alone curfew which was introduced in Quebec.

@typower9 well. let's recal what happend with the Japanees in the USA and Canada during the WW2. Or Germany of 1933 with the restriction for certain groups of population to work in office. Does today look somehow different?

@callofduty6661 yes, it alarmed me too. How can you involve children in this game? Children do not get sick or the disease is not as severe as in old folks. I do not want that a child would suffer in order I would live longer. The society can not put responsibility for health of old people on kids's shoulders. This is so wrong!

@michstockholm1164 there is a strong opposition among many young parents towards too many vaccines administered to contemporary kids and the benefit of this is not clear since the excessive vaccination started not very long time ago. My generation did not have so many vaccines as my kids and my grandchildren have even more, but health wise we do not know yet that this good for their health. Also it is well known how many kids suffers severe health damage after vaccination what makes their mothers organize a movement against vaccination. If you have little kids go and learn about vaccines today as much as you can.

@007travelbug Yes, unfortunately there is no real opposition party to vote for. New parties which started recently need time to become popular. And people in Ontario mostly vote fro populists because they promise more government help. I am not against that, on the opposite, but it comes with the price of less freedom and living in a nanny-state.

@syntaxerror8955 you do not know about Canada-it is not democracy anymore, here people can not go to church, the pastors are in jail or in the court, you can not have another opinion than the authorities-is this democracy? The law now is discussed to restrict going to other than official sources in the Internet! I can not say about other "democracies", but I suspect something like this is happening there too. your index is an old one, unfortunately. Everything what was said badly about communists' countries now is happening in the west. How one can not see it???We are moving to fascism!

@syntaxerror8955 you are not in today's situation. Do you now that there are two different approaches towards the current medical problem but we know only one approach, that one which is needed to reach political goals? I am not surprised that so many see the reality through a TV lens.
