@leonardticsay8046 in America people were in need of auto because the country was developed around atomobile production. In the Soviet Union there were rail roads everywhere, the same as in Europe and the cities are not so big in territory. We did not need a car even it would be accessible. Recently I walked around Paris (France) on foot almost all city. YOu have to look at things from many perspectives. I am tired of people repeatin one and the same thing about cars. Was that the most important? Why do not you talk about free hogher education, about stipendia to students? about job place after graduation so you do not spend time working as a waiter.

@ 6:58 you can not not compare poor people in the Soviet Union to homeless in the US because in the Soviet Union everyone, literally, everyone could have had a job and was obliged to work. Therefore, if you work you have the money and the place to live. No homeless. And again, do not say that 1989 was the same as 1969. The bad things started in late 1970s. Starting from perestroika, all went down the hill.

@YevgeniyShcherbakov the first computer in Soviet Union was built in 1952. And about russian programmers whom are plenty in the USA for more than tens of years you did not hear anything? And about the founder of google you did not know? His parents were mathematicians from the Soviet Union. China and India became in this field famous quite recently.

@YevgeniyShcherbakov you deny that there is a Math school in the Soviet Union? HOw then you explain that so many programmers in Nortj America are from former Soviet Union? And BTW, computer is not only PC.

@YevgeniyShcherbakov you do not have idea of the subject, probably, due to young age.

@8:30 there was a time when homosexuals were punished in Britain too. Russia was just behind the west in everything, this how the country developed, slowly. No need to show it as somehow very different from the west. It went the same stages as the west, just later.
